Zostel Ooty Hostel

Wow, the location is spot on! Just a short walk from the bus and train station, making it super convenient to explore. I really enjoyed the cozy vibes of the dorms and the fact that they had a bonfire in the evenings. The food was pretty tasty too-definitely a plus!

But, man, there were a few downsides. The washrooms could use some serious work, and it got pretty cold without any heating in the dorms! Plus, I had a random roommate who wasn’t part of my group, which was kinda awkward. Definitely needs some curtains for those bunk beds, you know?

The staff's treatment was so frustrating! We just wanted to relax and chat at night, but a caretaker kept rudely knocking on our door, claiming we were disturbing his sleep. It felt like we were in a strict dorm, not on vacation.

Serene estate location near hill train station, clean and tidy dormitory beds, hot water available all day, delicious homely food, interactive staff , beautiful view.

The location of the hotel is simply breathtaking, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Getting to the hotel was hassle-free, thanks to its convenient transport options. the staff at the hotel were polite and accommodating, making my stay more enjoyable.

There were a few downsides to my experience. The cleanliness of the washrooms was not up to par, with water constantly pooling and a lack of proper ventilation causing some unpleasant odors at times.

We had a fantastic stay at Zostel in Ooty. The location was fine, situated in a beautiful village surrounded by amazing tea plantations and valleys. The private room we booked was spacious, clean, and reminded me of a cozy home away from home. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the local area, providing us with great recommendations for things to do. We enjoyed delicious and affordable meals in the hostel's kitchen. we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend staying at Zostel Ooty.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was great, and the hotel facilities were great. The staff were friendly and interactive, especially the hotel manager who provided helpful guidance on places to visit in this city. the location of the hotel was perfect, great to easily explore the surrounding area. it was a wonderful experience.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

They made us feel welcomed and helped us with any requests we had, our comfort throughout our visit. One particular team member, Kandarp, even helped us make friends with fellow guests during our solo trip. Rajan and Mishra were also attentive and assisted us with any small needs we had. Mishra's cooking skills were excellent! Kudos to the entire team for their amazing job.

Despite these positives, there were a few drawbacks. The dining area was open and located between the female dorm and kitchen, making it uncomfortable to eat when the weather got colder.

The rooms at Zostel Ooty are cozy and comfy, making me feel right at home. I love the free WiFi, perfect for catching up on my favorite shows. And the bed linen? Oh so soft and snuggly, giving me a good night's sleep.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the bed linen at Zostel Ooty. But hey, that's just me.

The staff were incredibly helpful and fun, making me feel right at home. The food was delicious, especially the hot chocolate, dhaba style chicken, and English breakfast. I made unforgettable memories at the Saturday night bonfire with music and bar-b-q chicken. The property was clean and the dormitory beds were large and comfortable. I also enjoyed the peaceful shared spaces for reading and relaxing.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! Zostel in the peaceful area of Lovedale was a great choice. The staff was friendly and the sunrise was breathtaking. The beds in the dorm were spacious and comfortable. The dinner at the hostel was delicious. The location was convenient, close to the toy train station for easy transportation. I would highly recommend this place for a group of friends, with perfect dormitory rooms.

The homely atmosphere, delicious homemade food, and mesmerizing views made our experience memorable. the tents added a romantic touch and the presence of the adorable St Bernard, Rusty, was a bonus. Special thanks to Rahul, our wonderful host, and Rusty for making our trip unforgettable.

I had an incredible experience staying at a backpacker's hostel in the hills. the location was breathtaking, nestled amidst serene surroundings. the rooms were basic but decent, providing a comfortable stay. the friendly staff welcomed me warmly and were always ready for a chat. What I loved the most was the unique tent accommodation. It was a refreshing change from typical hotel rooms and I had a peaceful sleep in the natural cold climate. the hand-made drawings on the walls added a nice touch to the ambiance.

I did notice that some facilities were lacking. There could have been better arrangements for private rooms, such as proper hangers and a cupboard.

Clean and comfortable rooms with hot showers, breathtaking views and convenient location. Delicious meals, friendly staff, and affordable prices. The reading lamp over every bed is a fantastic touch. Surprising guests with a birthday cake showcases their exceptional hospitality. The hostel has a welcoming and social atmosphere, perfect for meeting like-minded travelers. The bonfire and authentic North Indian cuisine add to the overall experience. Whether traveling solo or with friends, this is a great place to stay.
